With per capita data:

Thank you for keeping us informed. Prayers for those families that have lost a loved on to this.

Thank you for the updates.

How many people have recovered? I know I can probably just do the math, but it would be nice to have that on your reports.

STAY IN HOME 🏠 PEOPLE PLS

Cases in ICU reduced than yesterday?

Hi, I'm wondering why the new OC site w/Covid info is not being updated occovid19.ochealthinfo.com/coronavirus-in-oc ? It's a great site to see what's happening in the OC communities. There are so many different numbers on the news it's hard to see what's accurate. Please keep this up to date, it's really helpful!

When will it be mandatory to stay home? After more deaths? What's the number of deaths it will cost for officials to mandate it?

www.cnn.com/2020/04/01/asia/coronavirus-mask-messaging-intl-hnk/index.html If you do go out, wear a mask!!! They've been lying telling us not to wear masks, downplaying this for too long. We have a shortage and want doctors and nurses to have them. But if masks don't work then why do they want nurses and doctors to have them. Makes no sense. That's why ours cases are skyrocketing and countries that wear masks numbers are going down!!!

Here is a graph for the visual folks. There was nothing published (that I could find) for 3/27. I was able to fill in the new cases based on the report, but not the Tests. Also, the last two days, the numbers between Cumulative Cases and Cases reported have not matched.

generally , i have been very disappointed in the irrational , slow , inconsistent performance of orange county . just follow what our governor says ...why is that so hard ? you resonate as a group of out of touch people who cannot consensus . we are depending upon you for our very lives ! please pull it together !! these stat reports are virtually useless and inadequate and your hours behind local new sources this is your job !!! start doing it well please !!

The Chapman college attendees need to stop partying at night. Heard a partying going on behind us the other night. They must think they are immune to all of this.

You guys are doing great with these updates and they are appreciated. I know you said you will be doing city breakdowns every Friday so I look forward to see the changes then. Is there any chance you could include the age breakdowns in your daily report like you were doing before?

Thank you. Would love to see more of a breakdown for the 163,000 of us that are lumped into the "other" category instead of by city.

I'd like to see a similar graphic about the flu in OC. The last weekly tally on your website that I found in a quick search is from mid February. Thanks.

City totals vs per capita, including OC total hospitalizations, ICU count, and deaths:

WHERE IS OUR GRAPH GUY? I love seeing his data.

After listening to today's board of supervisors meeting... golf courses still operational and Ms. Steele still doesn't see this as a problem. Sherriff's can't act as they wish because they haven't given direction how to. Only 80 tests a day county wide... 5500 tests total given in the OC. 3 new deaths. Unfathomable. We are not ready if the numbers surge in 2 to 3 weeks we are not ready. I hope they don't surge because it will be an embarrassment on the county. Keep praying for first responders they need to stay healthy.

Please disclose which ICU’s for public PPE donations

All this algorithm are inacured the Ppm population, real characteristic of Humans medical condition and Matrix are not proper define. Science and Engineers must implement D8 corrective action for Evaluation prior to post information.

I heard school is probably going to be out the rest of the school year

Thank you for showing the hospitalized numbers that we asked.

Great improvement with data publishing! And listening to Facebook/ Twitter responses!

I am concerned that the County Board of Supervisors are not in agreement about restricting public recreational activity (golfing) across the board, city to city. This adds additional risk due to mixed messaging.

So are we all supposed to stay in or just some of us?

Thank you for the better data

The mobile version of the site still says 3/25

The next few weeks will be intense. Please everyone, stay in

thank you for keeping us informed

Are the hospitalizations newly admitted or total hospitalizations for the day?

Farmers Markets are still open!

Sad to see 46 in the ICU. Out of curiosity - How many ventilators are there in OC?

ochealth What does it mean when the case count for a city decreases, like HB did today (33 to 32)?

Prayers to everyone.

The chairwoman who has no idea 💡 her name is Michelle Steel. Y’all voted her in... she is running for a spot in DC just FYI.

Someone needs to take control of our county! This is pathetic

We have been quarantined in the house and the complex decided to post a little paper note in the open parking lot !! How is it our fault with no proper notification

Watching this makes me want to jump thru the phone. I am Appalled by the lack of leadership. I am glad one of those people on the stand is saying we need to do something.

The most important thing right now is how to keep everyone inside. And have emergency response team ready to go. We need contact from our local emergency response team.

Why put law enforcement in this position. Come on people. They have better things to do. They will be overwhelmed by people who refuse to do the right thing

The OC board of directors are mellow and not aggressive!! We need someone with a very strong character right now. We need to pay more attention of who we elect.

No plan. All inmates being released regardless or not of showing symptoms should be tested before the release process is implemented.

Item 2 (what they currently are on) is: Approve Grant Policy for COVID-19 funding opportunities - All Districts They have 3 speakers who wish to speak. They are on the second

How in on earth can we hope to control the spread when the chairwoman advocates breaking guidelines

as a community we all need to contact the governor and stop her! This is going to kill millions!

You can call the Governor’s office directly and speak to his staff

Rapid labs are only available to doctors and nurses and emergency situations.

My car and husbans car got towed last night from our complex plus numerous others !! Last night

Is there anything you can do if your job is calling you "essential" resident property management yet forcing you and 8 others to work on emails together in the same office without social distancing?

Our current Congressman Harley Rouda is excellent at providing information about this virus and the latest updates.

Like Wagner said, they do not have the capability to test them all

If a homeless person is not high risk and if they have room in the shelter than they get help.

They don’t care 🤷‍♀️. Show some sympathy for what your community is going thru because your lack of leadership.

Michelle Steel- Have you not been hearing the real news about this virus? You’re putting all of us in danger because you are so clueless.

We don’t really know the true count of people walking around being positive!

School might be cancelled but OUR children and Us as well are being educated..just not in school nor the type we planned to on getting..

They need to announce the closure of the schools beyond April 17

Got the feeling OC is WAY BEHIND and god hopefully won't bite us in the ...

Can someone who watched from beginning let us know about what they said about school please.

Please help Orange County, CA! Our county officials are not prepared and see no sense of urgency during the Covid-19 pandemic. Orange County = 3+ million residents; and we have 809 ventilators, 5,000 available beds and less than 1,000 tests, no inventory was provided on staff, PPE’S, beds, ER bed availability. @ 10:13 Michelle Steel expresses she sees no urgency to prepare based on our current testing numbers. Which are low. @ 10:55 am Michelle Steel said there is no reason to follow strict Stay in Place because our residents need BREATING ROOM! BREATHING ROOM TO BREATH ON EACH OTHER! @ 11:21 Michelle Steel walked out of the meeting during a pandemic Michelle Steel doesn’t understand why the golf courses need to be closed. Michelle steel refuses to meet more than once a week and refuses to discuss anything not on the agenda – A legislative body may discuss a non-agenda item at a regular meeting if, by majority vote, the body determines that the matter in questions constitutes an emergency. The Brown Act provides for emergency meetings to be held by a legislative body with little or no notice to the public, depending upon the situation. When a majority of the legislative body determines that an emergency situation exists, it may call an emergency meeting. (Gov’t Code § 54956.5).
